Download and Connect the Mintcom POS App

Connect the device to an establishment first, then let each employee sign in with their own six-digit POS PIN.

Before You Start

- Create the establishment and keep its Location ID and location password available to the authorized person connecting the device.

- Create staff roles and POS PINs from Dashboard > Staff.

- Use a stable internet connection for setup and keep the device powered.

Connect the Device

1. Open the Mintcom download page and choose the store link for your device.

2. Install and open the current POS app.

3. Connect the device using the establishment's Location ID and location password.

4. Check the establishment name displayed on the sign-in screen.

5. Enter your six-digit employee PIN on the PIN pad.

6. Open or resume the appropriate register shift and test a sale and receipt.

If There Is No PIN Pad

Update the POS app. If the app asks to reconnect the tablet, an authorized person should connect it again with the location credentials. Changing an employee PIN does not replace the device connection.

Keep Access Safe

Use location credentials only for authorized device setup. Staff should use their own PIN for daily sign-in. Never include passwords or PINs in support tickets.
