What Happens When Payment Fails
A failed subscription payment usually means the card was declined, expired, blocked by the bank, or the billing method needs customer authentication.
What You May See
- A billing warning in the dashboard or owner portal.
- A subscription status that changes to past due or requires attention.
- A request to update the payment method or retry payment.
How to Fix It
1. Open the billing or subscription area.
2. Confirm the current plan and billing status.
3. Update the payment method if the card is expired or unavailable.
4. Retry the payment if the option is available.
5. Contact support if the payment is charged by the bank but Mintcom still shows unpaid.
Prevent Future Failures
Keep a valid payment method on file and make sure the billing contact can receive bank authentication prompts.
