Offline Mode and Data Sync
Mintcom is designed to tolerate connectivity problems in POS operations, but offline capability depends on the app workflow and the action being performed.
What Offline Mode Is For
- Continue basic sales during temporary internet drops where the POS app supports it.
- Save orders locally until the connection returns.
- Sync pending items when the app is back online.
What Usually Needs Internet
- Web dashboard login.
- Billing, reports, support tickets, and owner portal data.
- Loading fresh products, settings, staff, and historical orders.
Good Offline Habits
- Keep the POS device powered and the app open until sync finishes.
- Do not uninstall the app or clear data while orders are pending.
- Reconnect before closing the day if possible.
- Review orders and reports after sync to confirm totals.
