Add-ons and Modifiers Guide
Add-ons and modifiers let customers customize products with options such as size, milk type, toppings, extras, or preparation choices.
Attribute Types
- Single select: Staff chooses one option, such as size.
- Multi select: Staff chooses multiple options, such as toppings.
- Required modifiers: Staff must choose before checkout.
- Optional modifiers: Staff can skip them when not needed.
Create Add-ons
1. Open Dashboard > Add-ons.
2. Create the modifier group.
3. Add sub-options with prices where needed.
4. Attach the group to relevant products.
5. Test the product in the POS.
Best Practice
Avoid overloading every product with every modifier. Only attach choices that are operationally valid for that item.
